WHAT IS GOD’S CLOSET
God’s Closet is a children’s clothing ministry that collects and then distributes new and gently used children’s clothes to families.
HOW DOES GOD’S CLOSET WORK?
Shopping at God’s Closet is easy. It is similar to shopping at a store except all the clothes are free!
HERE ARE THE DETAILS: We plan to have FREE SHOP-DAY EVENTS throughout the year.
A FREE SHOP-DAY EVENT is when you can come and receive free children’s clothes!
ANYONE CAN SHOP AT GOD’S CLOSET! We do NOT ask for any type of documentation, so everyone is invited to ‘shop’ with us. No appointment is needed or required; you just need to show up!
God’s Closet – Kitchener-Waterloo SDA does not maintain any regular business hours, so you can only shop during our Free Shop-day events. Dates for the events will be provided in advance right here on God’s Closet – Kitchener-Waterloo SDA page.
We ask each family to pay a CAD$2 entrance fee (cash only). The fee helps us with all our expenses. It is $2 per family not per person and used only for God’s Closet. Once you arrive, pay the $2 entrance fee we provide you with the shopping bag. YOU fill them with whatever you need!
You can choose to bring your children or leave them at home, the choice is yours.
It is a FUN time when you get to fill a bag with whatever you need for free!

WHEN IS THE DATE FOR OUR NEXT FREE SHOP DATE?
Our next Free Shop Day will be September 27, 2026. Time: 10am to 1pm. We will be providing lots of awesome clothes.

HOW CAN I DONATE?
Please support us with your donations. We accept children’s clothes and bedding only (crib sheets, blankets, etc.) from ages newborn to teenager! Clothes must be gently used, washed and cleaned.
Donations are given AS IS to another family, so we sincerely appreciate it when items are in excellent condition and clean.
Please do not give us items that you yourself would not put on your own children. That’s appreciated. We are not accepting toys.
We accept donations every Saturday 9:30 am- 12 Noon; kindly drop off in the marked containers
